ALQUERÍA is an Arabic word that means “little village”. During the Middle Ages, ALQUERÍA developed as a popular style of home that was contemporary with the lordly castle.
In Spain (Valencia and Murcia), the alquería farmhouses used to be the typical homes in the area, and the main activity of their inhabitants was to provide their Lord with a tribute of wheat, oats, and eggs among other products, while using his wine press to make wine.
We have created our brand in recognition of those men who were servants of exquisite palates, and who made out of the manufacture of sublime food their way of life.
